The submission process for the 2020 Annual Meeting is now closed. All notifications of acceptance/rejection have been sent! Please contact berlin2020@ispp.org, if you did not receive notification or have questions about your submission. All authors must register for the conference by March 15, 2020 to confirm their participation and be included in the conference program. EXTENDED VIRTUAL, AUTHOR REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 16 April 2020.

Please note that there is a new rule for ISPP submissions. Each submitter is limited to one presenting author role. This does not exclude you from serving in other roles such as Chair or Discussant. This also does not prevent you from being a non-presenting co-author on multiple submissions.
Paper submissions are individual paper abstracts submitted for review. Abstract guidelines are available HERE and in the submission portal under Abstract Entry. If accepted, the individual paper will be added to a panel. Each panel is generally made up of four papers. Each paper will have 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions. This will total 80 minutes and leave 10 minutes for set up and general discussion. A chair will be assigned to each panel to introduce speakers, regulate order and timing of the talks, facilitate the question and answer sessions, and formally close the session. It is our hope that many panels will also have discussants. You will be asked to indicate your willingness to serve as Chair or Discussant when you submit your abstract.
Due to the decision to move to a virtual event, an alternative presentation format will be decided upon for poster presentations. Poster submissions are individual poster abstracts submitted for review. Abstract guidelines are available HERE and in the submission portal under Abstract Entry. Accepted posters will be allocated to a Poster Session at this year's Annual Meeting. The room holding the Poster Session will be open during designated times to allow for poster set up. Materials will be provided to hang your poster. We ask that you have your poster printed prior to arriving at the conference; ISPP will not have the capability to print posters on the premises. If you need to ship your poster via post, please contact the ISPP Central Office for specific instructions.
Poster Dimensions: The poster board sizes will be announced closer to the conference. You may use the full poster space to display your poster in any way your choose. However, we would advise you to make your poster just slightly shorter in width and length than the board dimensions, to make certain you will have room to use pins/tacks. Adhesive materials will be provided to hang your poster at the conference.
Blitz Presentation Sessions will feature a series of short talks, each covering a bite-sized bit of research, offering the audience a fast-paced overview of political psychology research. Blitz (lightning–fast) presentations will be 5 minutes, presented in no more than 4 slides, in front of a seated audience. Time keeping will be very strict to allow the appropriate coordination of the various blitz presentations. There will be 1 minute after each talk, to transition to the next talk. This extra 1 minute is not meant to be extra time that you can use to present a longer talk. At the end of each session of blitz presentations there will be time for questions and discussion. Due to time constraints, only one presenter is allowed on co-authored work. If you are selected for a Blitz Presentation, you are required to send your 4 Powerpoint presentation slides to the session chair at least one week in advance of the presentation. If your slides are not provided to the session chair by the deadline, you will not be allowed to use slides. The session chair will assemble all the slides in one slide show in the order of presentation so that the session can move smoothly.
